Job Description
Realty Income is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal to join their hard-working legal team. In this role, the paralegal will work with, assist, and support the real estate attorneys in all legal services related to assigned matters, coordinating efforts with other paralegals, legal assistants, outside and opposing counsel, and third-party service providers as required. You will supervise and provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to other paralegals and legal assistants (as assigned), and organize and facilitate an environment wherein the best quantitative and qualitative results can be achieved by the supervised paralegals and paralegal assistants.
Portfolio Acquisition Matters
Train and supervise the paralegals and paralegal assistants (as assigned); coordinate workflow between and amongst the paralegals and paralegal assistants.
Organize and manage Acquisition property and diligence files.
Purchase and lease documents.
Order / obtain title insurance commitments.
Preliminarily draft and / or review closing documents, including supplemental escrow instructions, settlement statements, deeds, affidavits, etc.
Review files and coordinate entry and approval of property-related information into Source2Book.
Organize and manage the handoff of development files to the Project Manager for management and the drawing process.
Coordinate the pulling of files and documents as needed for auditing.

This hybrid position is based in our San Diego (Del Mar area) headquarters. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office for collaboration, with the opportunity to work remotely on Monday and Friday. For candidates outside San Diego and surrounding counties remote working options may be available.
The hourly pay range for this role is $42.72 - $49.19 - $59.71.
Offers near the high end are uncommon but may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and skills and are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, to be discussed during the interview process. An annual pay rate and total compensation package is generally determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
