Engineer II, Utility

Summary

The Utility Engineer II will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and

maintenance of all utility systems within the battery manufacturing plant. This includes

managing critical systems such as electricity, compressed air, water, steam, and HVAC

(Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning). The role involves ensuring the reliability of utility

services that support production processes and handling maintenance activities.

Additionally, the engineer will improve utility efficiency, manage external contractors, and

ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all utility systems, including

electrical, compressed air, water, steam, and HVAC systems, ensuring they operate

efficiently and without any interruptions

budgets to reduce costs while maintaining optimal performance of facilities

implement corrective actions to prevent future problems

materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations that affect long-term plant

planning

including maintenance, repairs and system upgrades

to urgent situations

work orders and compliance documentations

Qualifications and Requirements

Equipment (PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours : Safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes

Lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds on occasion, Stoop, twist, bend, Reach overhead, Stand

for lengthy periods
