Asahi Kasei Bioprocess (AKB) provides pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers with a comprehensive suite of tools to maximize safety and improve yields of biotherapeutics during research, clinical and commercial-scale production. Additional product offerings include liquid chromatography, inline buffer dilution and oligonucleotide synthesis. Our facility specializes in hand assembly and testing of our final equipment products.

Position Summary :

We are currently looking for a Senior EHS Specialist I to join our team at AKBA! The individual in this role will facilitate environmental, health and safety tasks and improvements, and maintain appropriate records of evidence of compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role requires proven knowledge of OSHA and other general industry regulations and requirements, and the soft skills necessary to build productive and trusted relationships with employees. Under the direction of our talented and kind Director of Quality and Safety, the Senior EHS Specialist I will foster a culture where the work environment and employees' health and safety come first.

The base compensation range for this role is $85,000-$95,000. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to : time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
