Bar Manager

Job Requirements

• Ability to lead by example while supporting and developing a team
• A thorough knowledge of mixology, wines, liquor, and cocktails
• Collaborates with Overture staff to increase communication regarding events identifies creative ways to build sales and develops and markets specialty drinks
• Builds strong relationships with all members of management, including BOH, and works to maintain positive communication within the team
• Attends weekly manager and BEO meetings, contributes where necessary
• Understands all bar equipment operations, and bar storage areas and maintains organization and preventative maintenance schedule
• Ability to manage and record inventory accurately and efficiently each period
• Maintains relationships with all beverage vendors and completes beverage orders each week
• Manages events including all following steps : FOH prep, setup, execution, and breakdown following the conclusion of events
• 2 or more years of bartending experience, management experience is preferred
• Will be required to obtain ServeSafe Food Manager License and Operator License upon hire
