Quality Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Quality team in delivering high standards of product reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Customer Service.

You'll assist with quality systems, document control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives, especially related to our IATF 16949-certified environment. This is an excellent role for someone with foundational experience in quality engineering, ideally within the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

Support the maintenance and compliance of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System

Assist in preparation and submission of PPAPs, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Work Instructions

Participate in internal audits and support customer and third-party audits

Analyze quality data and assist in root cause analysis using tools like 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D

Collaborate with Production to monitor and improve scrap, rework, and defect rates

Respond to customer complaints and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Support new product launches by contributing to quality planning and validation

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field – or equivalent work experience

2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)

Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA

Comfortable reading technical drawings and interpreting specifications

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with quality software is a plus
