Location : San Jose, CA 95138

Duration : 10+ months (Possible extension)

Pay Rate : $24 / hr

Shift : Mon - Fri, 12 : 00 am - 8 : 30 am (3rd shift)

Candidates must be open to OT daily and during the weekends. Candidates also must be open to working Mon - Fri schedule (8am - 4 : 30pm) to allow training.

Job Description

The Regeneration Operator prepares resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks. Handles chemicals such as acids, bases and salts. Performs quality control checks on the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks for customer fulfillment.
• Performs quality control checks on the equipment.
• Receives resin from customer sites in resin tanks or on mobile equipment.
• Empties tanks or equipment of the exhausted media and prepares it for regeneration.
• Prepares resin tanks or mobile equipment by filling empty tanks with regenerated media.
• Performs quality control checks on the equipment to ensure specifications are met.
• Repairs and helps maintain the bottles / tanks and other service type of equipment.
• Follows Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures and policies.
