Job Description

Job Description : IREN is seeking a Grid Connections Senior Manager to lead end-to-end grid interconnection efforts for data center developments, manage relationships with utilities and grid consultants, and shape regulatory and commercial strategies for large-load interconnections.

Job Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in the power and infrastructure sector, with exposure to one or more of the following areas : data center or large load grid connections; greenfield renewable or thermal generation development and grid connections; power systems or transmission planning engineering; familiarity with ERCOT market rules and established relationships with utilities and operators.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end project development, including site selection, due diligence, permitting and other elements related to securing grid connections.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, grid connection processes, and power procurement agreements (PPA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Economics.
