We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong background in OSHPD Healthcare to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on our healthcare construction projects. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP system installations according to the highest standards of quality, time management, and budget control.
Responsibilities :
1. Supervising all MEP trades and ensuring that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
2. Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and architects for the smooth execution of all MEP related works.
3. Implementing and maintaining OSHPD and HCAI regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Managing the installation of all MEP systems, ensuring they meet all safety, quality, and operational requirements.
5. Utilizing BIM technology to enhance project visualization, improve productivity, and reduce risk.
6. Overseeing the implementation of healthcare construction and MOB projects from the core and shell stage to tenant improvement (TI).
7. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of systems to ensure they are operational and in good working order.
8. Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders.
9. Ensuring all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
10. Training and mentoring junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, specifically in the healthcare construction industry.
2. Proven experience working with OSHPD, HCAI regulations, and MEP systems.
3. Extensive knowledge of healthcare construction, MOB, BIM, and TI.
4. Familiarity with core and shell construction.
5. Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in healthcare facilities.
6. Strong leadership and project management skills.
7. Proficient in using BIM software for project planning and execution.
8. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
