Event Support Assistant

PrideStaff, a national staffing agency, is working with a higher learning client in Laurel, MD! They are looking for an energetic and professional administrative candidate to support the event planning of an upcoming event!

Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Duration : 6 Weeks (Temp Assignment)

Pay Rate : $22 / hr

Location : Laurel, MD

Event Support Assistant responsibilities include :

  • Assist with various aspects of event planning and execution.
  • Make and receive calls to coordinate with vendors, attendees, and internal teams.
  • Manage schedules and coordinate meetings.
  • Take detailed notes during planning meetings.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including check-ins and general coordination.

Event Support Assistant requirements include :

  • Recent or relevant experience with handling administrative tasks
  • Time Management, task prioritization, and customer service skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google suite
  • Willingness to submit to a background check and / or drug screen
