Senior Application Analyst - Epic Patient Engagement - 2861

Montefiore Einstein Technology is seeking a Senior Application Analyst with expertise in Epic to support key patient engagement initiatives, including Epic Secure Chat, MyChart (patient portal), Epic mobile applications, and Telehealth solutions / Patient Engagement technologies. This position plays a critical role in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of these platforms to enhance digital communication between patients and providers.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Epic applications, with a focus on Epic MyChart, Hello World, Haiku, Canto, Rover, Secure Chat as well as Telehealth platforms.
• Perform workflow analysis, data collection, and system design to meet business and clinical needs.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause analyses in collaboration with Epic support and internal teams.
• Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and support documentation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate enhancement requests and ensure alignment with system architecture and user experience goals.
• Provide input on project planning, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Collaborate with project leads and team members on major go-lives, upgrades, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in design and peer review sessions to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with standards.
• Stay current with Epic best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis, including occasional on-site support at Montefiore hospitals and affiliates.
