Overview

Position : Assistant Plant Engineer

Location : Swedesboro, NJ

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 USD Annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the President, General Manager, and Plant Engineer to ensure smooth and efficient daily production operations.
• Maintain facility readiness and support equipment functionality; contribute to operational improvements.
• Support daily plant operations by ensuring machinery and personnel are properly set up for efficient production.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all production equipment, including refrigeration units and ovens.
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, equipment, and replacement parts necessary for machinery and facility upkeep.
• Assist in evaluating the physical condition of the building and coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Participate in maintaining plant grounds, including landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Provide input on purchasing decisions and contribute to optimizing processing methods and operational efficiencies.
