Mechanical Planner - Maintenance

Large manufacturing company is looking for a maintenance planner for one of their facilities outside of Cambridge, MD. Local candidates only - (this company does not sponsor candidates now or in the future)

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING OR DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY MAINTENANCE PLANNING EXPERINCE

The Maintenance Planner expedites the flow of work and materials within the maintenance department according to work orders and the production schedule. and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and maintenance problems.

Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.

Requisitions and maintains inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet maintenance demands.

Distribute maintenance schedules and work orders to departments.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 + years in a production or maintenance environment.

Job functions will be carried out in an office or in a production environment.
