Job Description & Requirements Specialty : House Supervisor Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 23 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, rotating Employment Type : Travel Travel RN - LTC / SNF (Weekend Supervisor) Location : Modoc Medical Center (CA) Shift : Friday-Sunday (3x12s) Hours : 36 hours / week guaranteed Contract Length : 91 days (~13 weeks) Position Urgency : Normal Billing String : Modoc Medical Center ✅ Position Overview : This is a weekend supervisory RN role at a skilled nursing facility (SNF), responsible for leadership, compliance, staffing oversight, and care coordination . Primary Responsibilities : Act as liaison between Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF staff Supervise nursing activities and ensure quality patient care Ensure compliance with physician orders and facility standards Assist with : Staffing schedules Payroll & overtime approvals Hiring / firing decisions in conjunction with DNO / CNO Staff evaluations per facility policy Policy & procedure development Maintaining accreditation & licensing documentation SNF nursing budget development and management Staff education & orientation Recruitment and disciplinary actions as needed Collaborate with Medical Staff, Administration, and other hospital departments Qualifications : Active California RN license - required CPR certification - required 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience - required Direct personnel management experience highly preferred Prior experience in long-term care / SNF setting Strong communication (verbal & written) Computer proficiency : Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must be organized, dependable, and have strong attendance record Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Notes : This is a leadership / management-oriented RN role - not just bedside care Expect involvement in compliance, documentation, and staff oversight Facility values consistency, professionalism, and strong communication English fluency required Qualifications : Active California RN license - required CPR certification - required 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience - requiredDirect personnel management experience highly preferred Prior experience in long-term care / SNF setting Strong communication (verbal & written) Computer proficiency : Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must be organized, dependable, and have strong attendance record Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Notes : This is a leadership / management-oriented RN role - not just bedside care Expect involvement in compliance, documentation, and staff oversight Facility values consistency, professionalism, and strong communication English fluency required About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
