Here you'll get to :
Manage the preparation, review, reconciliation & distribution of Participation distribution and profit share statements according to contractual agreementsManage team workflow and delivery, meeting department service levels and KPIsOversee the use of systems, reporting tools and related controls to deliver accurate statements to our artists and third partiesFinalize, review & approve financial reconciliations, cash forecasts and budgets, advance recoupment and Participations expense and balance sheet entriesOversee SOX compliance and internal controls, respond to audit requestsBuild and maintain strong working relationships across the company at all levels, as a primary contact for our internal and external partnersCommunicate status & escalate issues as appropriate to senior managementMaster WMG operational & accounting systems, further expertise in participations accounting & operationsContribute ideas and help lead process transformation, innovation, and improvement of team operationsDemonstrate people management capabilities : coach and develop staff and contribute to the culture of the Participations groupAbout you :
BA / BS degree required, preferably in accounting or finance related fields5+ years of professional experience working in a related capacityStrong financial analysis and financial statement preparation background requiredAdvanced proficiency with MS Excel, working with large data sets and complex calculationsExperience supervising and developing staffCustomer focused, with ability to manage & deliver service level expectationsPossess strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detailEffective interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functionally and communicate with internal & external stakeholders at all levelsAbility to manage multiple priorities and direct reports, execute tasks with accuracy and deliver under pressureAbility to understand complex information quickly, breakdown and communicate to othersWe'd love it if you also had :
Entertainment, Media, or Music Industry experience working in Participations / Royalties or similar roleExperience working remotely in a Shared Services environmentTechnical working expertise with SAP S4 Hana, SAP Analysis for Office, BI, SharePointLI-Remote
Salary Range $85,000 to $90,000 Annually. Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
