job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonday–Friday | 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM Bachelor's degree (4-year) in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or materials-related roles Experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean tools and methodologies Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles Ability to develop and document standard work processes Clear written communication skills for drafting concise work instructions Effective cross-functional collaboration skills Hands-on approach to process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all site safety protocols and actively contribute to a safe working environment Promote and uphold a Lean Manufacturing culture, including Standard Work practices and participation in continuous improvement initiatives Lead standardization and improvement of material supermarkets, focusing on : Safety compliance Daily and visual management systems 5S implementation and sustainment Empty bin organization and material replenishment processes Support warehouse optimization through relocation and organization of materials into rack and bin systems to improve inventory accuracy and picking efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally to implement large part delivery systems to production areas, including : Developing and documenting standard work processes Creating clear and concise work instructions Leading daily management routines to ensure system effectiveness
MAU is hiring a Materials Process Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Materials Process Engineer, you will lead site-wide optimization of material supermarkets and large part presentation systems to improve material flow, storage, and delivery. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
