A company is looking for a Part-Time Medicare Cost Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute audits in accordance with professional auditing standards, focusing on operational controls and compliance
Communicate audit status and results to management, and prepare formal work papers and reports documenting audit findings
Direct the day-to-day efforts of audit staff, providing training and ensuring quality audit work is performed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a job-related field
7 years of auditing or accounting experience, with at least 1 year leading audits
Knowledge of auditing principles and practices, as well as cost accounting standards
Experience with Medicare cost report auditing is preferred
Certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are preferred
