Job Title : Medical Staff Office Senior Coordinator

Location : Cumberland, RI (Hybrid- Onsite Tuesday and rest work from home)

Job Duration : 6 Months+ (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : Mon – Fri (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM)

Pay Rate : $25 / hr. on W2

Position Summary :

  • The Medical Staff Office Senior Coordinator manages the non-clinical physician operations at Client, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards. This role is part of a collaborative, cross-functional team supporting administrative physician operations.

Key Duties :

  • Support provider onboarding, ensuring Collaborative Practice Agreements and prescriptive authority documents are fully executed and maintained.
  • Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians according to Joint Commission, NCQA, and URAC standards.
  • Use MDStaff database to record and maintain credentialing information.
  • Conduct sanctions and compliance monitoring; alert Credentialing Manager and Revenue Director of any undisclosed negative findings.
  • Process malpractice insurance verifications as per policy.
  • Maintain provider and physician SharePoint sites; communicate provider statuses to leadership and internal teams.
  • Submit system access requests upon credentialing approval.
  • Notify system analysts and leadership of system or agency interruptions / updates.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and model a positive attitude.
