POSITION :  Oracle DBE

REQUISITION :   ORA-1747-03.021823

LOCATION :   Ft. Meade, Maryland

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Ability to creates and manage
  • Designing and building databases  -
  • Well versed with database concepts as well as database design.
  • Install and configure the database.
  • Strong understanding of database security (VPD, Label Secuirty
  • Strong expertise in Advanced of PL / SQL development experience with Oracle 12c / 19c database
  • Should have excellent technical and analytical skills in PL / SQL Oracle and building queries.
  • Well versed with writing complex SQL queries by using advanced PL / SQL functions
  • Possesses good debugging skills
  • Experience in understanding the business / functional requirements
  • Experience with Javascript and Scripting
  • Experience with Oracle APEX is a plus
  • JAVA is experience is a plus

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years of DBE experience, OR
  • No Degree + 15 years of DBE experience.

  • Designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
  • Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
  • Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
  • Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
  • Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning.
  • Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
