What this job involves :
As a Facilities Engineering Coordinator, you'll serve as a vital operational support role ensuring the reliability and administrative management of facilities across office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments. This position combines basic technical oversight with strong coordination skills as you monitor building systems, manage vendor relationships, and maintain compliance standards. You'll act as the communication bridge between clients, internal teams, and external service providers while supporting preventive maintenance programs and ensuring facilities remain operational, safe, and compliant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical facilities knowledge while contributing to JLL's operational excellence through effective vendor coordination and administrative support.
What your day-to-day will look like :
Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or technical degree preferred).
1-3 years of experience in facilities operations, building management, or related technical environment.
Basic understanding of building systems sufficient to identify issues and communicate with vendors.
Experience with CMMS (Corrigo preferred).
Familiarity with safety, compliance, and regulatory standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain operational continuity.
Preferred Qualifications :
Entry-level technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety).
Ability to observe, identify, and describe technical issues accurately to vendors or internal technicians.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, CMMS, and basic administrative processes.
Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements (OSHA, NFPA, local codes).
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
