Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Brevard, NC. This role supports students primarily in 6th and 8th grade and includes both direct and indirect service components. The position is a contract opportunity with hours spread across the regular and extended school years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to students
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs in a school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain necessary documentation and participate in team meetings as required
- Provide services for 2.5 hours per week with paid administrative and team meeting time
- Serve a caseload capped at approximately 6 students under the districts workload model
- Deliver continuous care through the regular school year (NSY), extended school year (ESY) in July, and new school year starting in August, preferably by the same clinician
