Controller

A company is looking for a Controller to lead the corporate Finance Department and manage financial operations in a federal-government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, AP / AR, billing, and job cost accounting

Manage monthly financial close and ensure accurate financial reporting

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP, FAR, and CAS

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with 5 years in a managerial role

Proficiency in GAAP, FAR, CAS, and indirect-rate structures

Experience with government business proposals and pricing regulations

Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
