Overview
Career Accelerator Program - Analog RF Design Engineer at Texas Instruments. In your first year you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. The program offers function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that encourage you to solve problems through hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and characterize RF / analog, and mixed-signal IC embedded modules for internal and external customer requirements in TI's and external foundry silicon-based processes.
- Design, develop and characterize suitable packages for design assembly.
- Specification definition and development, design, simulation, floor-planning, layout and review, bench characterization and debug, and documentation for leading modules.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers during specification negotiations; work with modelling, CAD, characterization, testing and productization teams.
- Advance projects from design exploration to final product development, including validation and test.
- Support final product tape-out and collaborate during characterization and productization; conduct multiple test chips per year to validate designs across process nodes.
- May include travel for customer discussions.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements :
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related fieldCumulative 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or higherExperience in design of RF / analog building blocks such as Low Noise Amplifiers, Mixers, Power Amplifiers, Phase Shifters, Multipliers, LO distribution amplifiers, and mixed-signal circuits and systems like ADCs, DACs, and PLLsExperience with Cadence-Virtuoso / Agilent-ADS and 2.5 / 3D-EM solversPreferred Qualifications :
