Job Title : Electrical Assembler

Job Description

Join a leading global manufacturer in the aviation and aerospace industries as an Electrical Assembler. In this role, you will contribute to the assembly of large industrial aerospace units by handling electrical components and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and wiring equipment using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, and crimping tools.
• Read and interpret drawings and sketches accurately.
• Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and / or production travelers.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large manufacturing facility with a production setting. Jeans and a shirt are suitable attire, but a uniform will be provided within a month. Steel-toed boots are required. The work environment can be busy and dynamic as teams collaborate to meet project deadlines. Tools are provided for the job. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with the first shift from 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm and the second shift from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm, along with overtime opportunities, especially during busy seasons.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 / hr.
