job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDevelop guidelines and procedures for database administration, maintenance, and security best practices Optimize and performance tune databases, including conducting drill-down analysis Assist in patching, upgrading, and migrating databases in a mission-critical environment Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation Manage backup and recovery techniques while adhering to work instructions Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology At least 6 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Expertise in RAC, ASM, RMAN, Oracle standby maintenance, and Dataguard configurations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and technical teams Experience in planning, coordination, and analytical skills Hands-on experience working in a Global Delivery Model with onsite / offshore resources Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently in a diverse stakeholder environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with technical documentation proficiency
