Operations and Maintenance Mechanic III. Req #527. Vicinity Energy, Baltimore, Maryland. Location : 1400 Ridgely St, Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time, non-exempt, union position. Compensation : $32.60 per hour plus 10% bonus target. Reporting to the O & M Manager.

Responsibilities
- Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with established Company policies.
- Read and record pressure gauges and thermometers.
- Identify, report and / or correct unsafe work environments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
- Participate in on-scene work taking direction from others.
- Operate hand / power tools in a competent manner.
- Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot plant equipment including basic piping systems, valves, traps, pumps.
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and record work completed in the CMMS.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Exercise caution in the use and maintenance of all company equipment.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
HS Diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year of maintenance experience in an industrial environmentPreferred / Additional Qualifications
6G Welding CertificationDemonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writingAbility to work with minimum supervisionPhysical Requirements
