Job Title : Administrative Assistant – Legal Services Team
Location : New York, NY (onsite, every other Friday remote)

Pay : $28.00 – $35.00 / Hourly

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives on organization, precision, and providing exceptional administrative support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism; take and relay detailed messages as needed.
- Review, organize, and distribute electronic and physical mail and correspondence.
- Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule appointments and travel.
- Transcribe dictation and prepare various legal documents as requested.
- File and organize legal documents and maintain both physical and digital filing systems.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for internal and client meetings.
- Enter attorney time and expense reports accurately and promptly.
- Assist with client billing, including preparing invoices and reviewing related financial details.
- Support daily office functions such as replenishing paper supplies and maintaining copier readiness.
- Maintain and update client contact information in internal databases.
- Open and update client matters and perform conflict checks as required.
- Provide backup administrative coverage to other attorneys or practice areas as needed.
Qualifications
1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Professional communication and interpersonal abilities; able to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff.Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Benefits :
