Quality Engineering Manager

Technical Leader

Lytx is growing rapidly and the hardware portfolio is expanding fast, both in number of products and production volumes. This position will play a key role as Lytx scales, by driving continuous improvement in product quality, time to market and hardware manufacturing efficiency. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical leader with strong analytical skills and exceptional ability to gain alignment and drive projects cross functionally, leveraging quality management and supply base development skills. Successful applicants will have experience with existing and new product introductions which includes the outsourced manufacturing of complex electronic products.

Position Responsibilities :

• Provide quality leadership with cross functional teams to successfully outsource the manufacturing of new Lytx products.
• Develops and executes a strategic quality plan aligned with Lytx corporate strategy that optimizes hardware availability, quality and cost across the entire product lifecycle from design release to end of life.
• Create and define clear quality plans with product development and assure technical documentation and valid testing is complete prior to product release.
• Participate in product design and lead production readiness reviews to enable Dfx best practices and early ramp product quality stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on qualifications, KPI establishment and performance management of all manufacturing facilities and processes.
• Provide guidance to suppliers to maintain or enhance quality, reliability, lean manufacturing, statistical process control and quality assurance.
• Analyze and report hardware quality and reliability trends and drive continuous improvement with our suppliers.
• Quickly identify and resolve complex hardware quality or reliability issues working directly with suppliers / clients as needed.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is : $136,000.00 - $172,000.00
