Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant / Cart Attendant) (T2584) — Part-time, Entry level
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist guests to solve their specific needs.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
- Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events; explain and enroll guests in Target Loyalty programs as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately; maintain food safety standards and company best practices.
- Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Explain features and offerings within the Target App (including Wallet); assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests on enrollment and usage.
- Handle returns by following register prompts; collaborate with leadership as needed while following Target policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours and assist guests as needed.
- Adhere to safety policies, ethical conduct, and compliance; remain mobile for shifts of varying lengths and temperatures; and support guest services with drive-up, pick-up, and related duties in compliance with applicable laws.
