Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Electrical Sales Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales of our data center power infrastructure productsincluding those manufactured by Vertiv / Liebertto both new and existing clients. The Sales Engineer will cover Charlotte, NC and the surrounding counties, building relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, and end users.

This is a consultative sales role focused on solution development, system design support, proposal generation, and lifecycle project engagement. Success will be measured by new customer acquisition, portfolio growth, and overall sales volume.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Serve and grow an assigned territory consisting of Charlotte, NC and surrounding counties.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of client and industry contacts to identify new sales opportunities.
• Support an assigned list of customers with a strong focus on technically demanding clients such as consulting engineers and end users.
• Identify and engage new customers that enter your assigned territory.
• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their needs and develop custom tailored solutions to fit those needs.
• Maintain communication with established customers, alerting them to new technologies and industry trends that may be of interest.
• Provide post-sale support and resolve customer issues as they arise.
• Generate proposals and technical documentation to support sales efforts.
• Collaborate with internal sales colleagues on strategic account opportunities and cross-selling efforts.
• Participate in training and maintain current knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
• Maintain CRM data, prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular reporting.
• Help develop and support customer marketing events.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
