The Opportunity
iEducate is searching for a Director of Development to lead the next chapter of our growth. This is a unique opportunity for a rising leader with a strong foundation in communications and marketing and emerging experience in fundraising to step into a high-impact role.

You will work side-by-side with the CEO to shape how iEducate is seen, heard, and supported as we become a national proof-point for public investment in teacher pipeline solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Communications & Marketing
Lead the vision and execution of iEducate's external communications strategy
Develop compelling fundraising and brand materials, including case decks, impact one-pagers, and newsletters
Oversee messaging and content across digital, print, and social platforms
Support the CEO's thought leadership efforts, including speaking engagements and media opportunities
Manage external communications consultants or vendors as needed
Fundraising & Development
Partner with the CEO to cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with institutional and individual funders
Draft donor communications, campaign materials, grant proposals, and impact reports
Plan and project manage donor campaigns and cultivation events
Maintain tracking systems to support seamless donor engagement
Organizational Strategy & Leadership
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO on positioning, pitch strategy, and funder engagement
Participate in internal planning and cross-functional initiatives
Represent iEducate externally with clarity, warmth, and professionalism
Who You Are
4–6 years of experience in communications, marketing, or nonprofit development
Exceptional writer and storyteller with a passion for education equity
Skilled in managing campaigns, content calendars, or public-facing messaging
Familiar with donor cultivation and fundraising strategy (formal or informal)
Strong project manager with excellent organizational skills
Bonus : Graphic design or visual storytelling experience (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
Collaborative, proactive, and deeply mission-driven
