BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position) :

Provide bartending and exemplary guest service during banquet events and in bar outlets as needed.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues using the chain of command.
• Provide bartending and food service for guests in the bar / lounge and / or during banquet events offering a fun, friendly atmosphere in a professional manner.
• Be able to both open and close the bar / lounge and complete all required side work duties.
• Maintain guest alcohol awareness at all times and communicate this information with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must maintain guest and employee confidentiality at all times.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (T he physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use hands; to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and be able to maneuver a full keg of beer, carry cases of bottled beer, bend, twist, reach and be otherwise physically limber as duties necessitate. Occasionally sit. Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage fear, hostility and violence f others appropriately. The casino work environment may expose you to second hand smoke on a regular basis.
