Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
On-Call 24 Hours, Monday-Friday
Hourly Pay : $40 to $50 per hour (DOE and Licenses)

We are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This team member will own the maintenance program, and be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building infrastructure (30,000 square foot facility in Tualatin) and production equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist :
Maintain production machinery, identifying and implementing solutions to recurring equipment problems.Troubleshoot systems and equipment as necessary.Install, maintain, and repair chemical and process water pumps.Maintain RO units including pumps, membranes, filters, and valves.Maintain, repair and / or replace hot water boiler system including valves, pumps, pipes, and insulation.Maintain ventilation (internal and external extraction fans) and fume scrubber.Maintain waste treatment system; rebuild and repair pumps, valves, and plumbing.Maintain and repair all blasting equipment including air operated cabinets and shot blast systems.Schedule and ensure annual service and maintenance is performed on chillers and air compressors.Perform and repair basic faults with all rectifiers including diode replacement, water lines, circuit boards.Provide support to production for design and manufacture of shot blast tooling and any fabrication needed for conventional aluminum tooling.Identify and order repair parts from multiple sources.Identify and oversee the work of outside vendorsPerform basic building maintenance including painting, plumbing, moving / repairing furniture.Ensure facility is safe and clean. Observe and report hazardous conditions.Act as back-up driver for deliveries as needed and maintain appropriate medical certificate for interstate driving.Document information related to work assignment and tasks.Other tasks as assigned.Skills and Experience You’ll Need as a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist :
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and / or experience may be considered.Current Oregon LME strongly preferred.Mechanical aptitude, proficiency with complex mechanical repair practices, and ability to work from mechanical drawings.Experience with a wide range of production and building specific equipment including pumps, compressors, boilers, HVAC units, plumbing systems, etc.Knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and tool design processes.Working knowledge of welding processes.Ability to use power tools, hand tools, precision measuring and testing instruments.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong math and computer skills.Forklift and Man-Lift licenses, Driver’s license, and medical certification for interstate driving.Work Environment for a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist :
Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work and with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to climb and work at high elevations.
