Job Title : Accounts Payable Clerk (Hybrid)

Location : Seattle, WA

Pay Rate : $25 – $28 / hour DOE

Contract Length : 8 Months

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on an 8-month contract in Seattle, WA . This hybrid role will handle vendor invoices, payments, and expense documentation, ensuring accurate and timely processing while supporting the accounting team.

Responsibilities :

Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Prepare payments via check, ACH, or other methods

Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation

Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reporting

Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries

Support the accounting team on special projects and ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications :

1+ year of experience in accounts payable, billing, or general accounting support

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Compensation :

Hybrid : Combination of onsite and remote work (details provided by employer)

Contract Length : 8 months

Compensation : $25 – $28 per hour, DOE
