Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the North America Immigration Program.
- Act as the point of contact for sponsored employees and their managers regarding VISA immigration practices, sponsorship requirements, implications of job profile changes, travel questions, and related matters.
- Identify and redirect questions to the correct resource, such as immigration counsel for legal questions and relocation / tax questions to Global Mobility.
- Respond in a timely manner to immigration-related Ask People tickets and redirect unrelated tickets to the appropriate COE for resolution.
- Advise and assist Talent Acquisition (TA) with onboarding timelines, requirements, and internal mobility assessments. Connect with appropriate parties to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (TA, People Team, Payroll, People Solutions, etc.) to resolve immigration-related challenges such as RFEs and job leveling.
- Support TA with PERM-related recruitment (tracking deadlines).
- Ensure content on immigration-related SharePoint sites and internal posting sites remains current and accessible to internal populations (PERM postings).
- Monitor immigration vendor SLAs and escalate cases outside SLAs where appropriate.
- Document and maintain program practices for internal and vendor reference.
- Review monthly status reports and ensure timely renewals are filed (US, LATAM, and Canada), track CAP cases, and perform regular audits of immigration files / reporting.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting reviews / requests and projects, contributing to team productivity goals.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD). For University Recruiting only : Master’s Degree without experience.Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required.3 to 4 years of business immigration experience (corporate or paralegal work).Understanding of U.S. employment-based sponsorship regulations, visa bulletin / priority dates, and experience with managing PERM.Knowledge of student visa-based work authorization (OPT, STEM OPT and CPT).Some experience with employment-based sponsorship for LATAM / Canada or a willingness to learn.Client services mindset with a collaborative work ethic.Ability to prioritize assignments, manage multiple tasks, and handle highly confidential information.Experience using ServiceNow, Workday, a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Pragmatic and analytical approach to problem solving.Additional Information

Travel Requirements : This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental / Physical Requirements : This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 92,300.00 to 130,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
