Reporting to the Kitchen Department Head (or his / her delegate), the Kitchen Service Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Department Head and Assistant Department Head in providing guidance, supervision and sets as a good example for Kitchen Service Assistants to follow.

T&T Supermarkets is marking over 30 years as Canada's favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced multiple new store locations in the United States. Our growth into the US offers great opportunities within our first US flagship store, opened in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington in the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and standing as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state.

We have established our regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to grow T&T Supermarket's vendor base with American food suppliers.

You Will

• Ensure quality control during receiving, manage inventory and product quality of all, implement FIFO concept, maintain full product display.
• Execute procedures for handling expired products and effectively manage shrinkage to minimize loss.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a welcoming smile, greeting and assisting customers enthusiastically, friendly, and courteously.
• Assist customers in product selection and offer recommendations as required to enhance their shopping
• Address customer complaints promptly, fostering positive relationships through attentive service and genuine engagement.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, provide feedback on staff performance, assist in staff training and development within the department.
• Lead by example, demonstrating proficiency in all assigned duties and setting a standard for excellence.
• Ensure all cooked products are properly packaged and displayed.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.
