We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and expand our Wholesale Sales Team. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment, knows how to build strong client partnerships, and can drive both individual and team performance.

About the Role

As our Wholesale Sales Manager, you will oversee the Wholesale Sales Channel, providing leadership, strategy, and coaching to our team of Sales Representatives. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, mentoring your team, building long-term relationships with wholesale clients, and ensuring Lakeside continues to grow as a market leader across West Michigan.

This position requires a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on client engagement. You will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and implement a wholesale sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Set performance goals, KPIs, and accountability standards for the sales team
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies as needed

Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and coach Outside Sales Representatives to achieve success
  • Provide ongoing training in consultative sales, customer service, and product

    • Knowledge

  • Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture Client and Market Development
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key wholesale accounts including kitchen and bath dealers, fabricators, and designers
  • Serve as an executive-level contact for major accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Identify new market opportunities and channels for growth

    • Professional Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of B2B or building materials sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and exceed revenue goals
  • Background working with kitchen and bath dealers, contractors, or fabricators highly preferred
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to forecast sales and manage budgets
