Position Summary :
TIG is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its asset management team. The asset management team oversees assets across all of TIG's investment vehicles ranging from core to value-add investments. TIG believes this broad range of responsibilities provides for a better understanding of a full cycle investment and provides individuals with valuable growth opportunities. This position is available due to the consistent growth that TIG is experiencing both from separate accounts and discretionary investment funds, resulting in a dynamic and energizing environment.
Position Essential Functions :
- Work with Asset Manager to create and manage investment strategies for individual assets, as well as portfolios.
- Create presentations communicating results of analysis and recommendations to executive management.
- Design, develop and refine tailored real estate financial (e.g., cash flow and cost analyses) and business models using ARGUS and Excel to support the decision-making process for real estate transactions.
- Assist Asset Manager with lender requirements and compliance, including lease approval, and loan draws.
- Perform comparative development, acquisition / dispositions, lease, lease versus buy, alternative tenanting and sale / leaseback analyses.
- Participate in the disposition process and run point for due diligence.
- Support the department as necessary with preparation of ad hoc reports, analysis and special projects.
Position Requirements :
An undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for candidates who maintained a strong GPA throughout their academic career.Two to three years of real estate, private equity, or investment banking required.Real estate experience preferred.Knowledge of Argus (preferred), Excel and Word, with a strong emphasis on Excel modeling capabilities and an understanding of discounted cash flows.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire others on the team to consistently meet high standards.Ability to find solutions to problems and clear hurdles.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and short deadlines.Displays a positive, can do attitude and professional manner, exhibiting respectfulness and behavior consistent with the company's core values.
