Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented

• IT Deployment & Support Technician
• to join our team. This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of end-user hardware and software, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing technical support for employees. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, and eager to grow in a collaborative IT environment.
• Key Responsibilities
• Build, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for new hires, transfers, and special projects.
• Perform hardware upgrades such as memory and hard drive installations.
• Coordinate with system administrators to ensure proper user account setup and access to corporate applications and network resources.
• Deliver and install hardware for end users, ensuring proper configuration and user satisfaction.
• Manage requisitions for new equipment and assess user needs for hardware / software.
• Maintain accurate records in ticketing and asset management systems (e.g., Remedy, Asset Center).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and user access.
• Retrieve and back up user data from existing systems as needed.
• Report build errors and contribute to documentation for build processes and procedures.
• Lift and transport IT equipment including desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, client-facing demeanor.
• Required Skills & Experience :
• Solid foundational knowledge of IT hardware and software support.
• Experience with imaging and deploying Windows-based systems.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy or similar platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and laptop issues.
• Understanding of user account provisioning and access management.
• Comfortable lifting and moving IT equipment.
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr.
