Job Description
Oversee monthly payroll activities for former employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while consulting with payroll and compensation leadership on various activities to evaluate and determine the best approach to nuanced situations. Maintain and reconcile records for stock options, dividends, and related transactions with an intentional focus on details and precision. Handle executive compensation entries and manage imputed income transactions. Process payroll adjustments for international employee taxation. Strengthen the payroll team's risk control framework and ensure compliance including evaluating the current framework and making recommendations for continuous improvement and efficiency. Own, coordinate and update the payroll business continuity strategy with the broader payroll team, proposing and implementing changes to remedy potential gaps. Manage payroll funding operations, including direct deposit verification, check issuance, and bank reconciliation. Collaborate on team-wide initiatives and contribute to strategic payroll projects. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to ensure process and functional excellence.
Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 46 years of hands-on payroll experience. Preferred Skills & Experience : Advanced proficiency with Workday Payroll and report generation tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Functional knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations. Exceptional multitasking abilities with a track record of delivering results. Experience streamlining processes including identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing changes focused on continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to customer service. Dedication to confidentiality in handling sensitive compensation and benefits data. Ability to design, test, and implement new payroll procedures in Workday.
