Police Officer / School Resource Officer
Responsibilities
- Enforcing state laws and local ordinances.
- Serving as a resource to students, staff, and parents within the school district.
- Promoting safety through education, mentorship, and positive relationship building.
- Responding to emergencies and assisting with investigations.
Qualifications / Requirements
MCOLES certified or certifiableConsideration will be given for candidates to be sponsored in a local Police AcademyMust possess a valid Michigan Driver License, be a US citizen, and at least 21 years of ageMust successfully pass the hiring process including a complete background checkCandidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, physical and psychological examinations, where applicableMust possess a High School Diploma / GEDAssociates / Bachelor's DegreeAbility to enforce laws and provide positive engagement within the school communityWage and Benefits
