What the Role Offers - HR Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist supports and partners with the Human Resources Manager to run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. As a new member of the HR team, you will bring your knowledge and experience in the following areas, including, but not limited to : recruitment and onboarding, new employee orientation, platform management (Bamboo HR, Kudos, LinkedIn Learning), and payroll and benefits administration.

What You Need To Succeed

• Serve as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, etc. as needed.
• Support the Senior HR Generalist with benefits enrollment, open enrollment coordination, and employee questions.
• Assist with payroll processes by ensuring accuracy of employee records and changes.
• Assist with employee relations issues.
• Stay up to date in knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law.
• Partner with the Recruiter to support recruitment activities, including, but not limited to : scheduling interviews and coordinating offer letters, background and reference checks.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR matters.
• Administer LinkedIn Learning, Kudos and BambooHR platforms (HRIS), ensuring employees can access and that their records are compliant.
• Respond to employee verification and unemployment requests.
• Manage the offboarding process and conduct exit interviews.
• Lead New Hire Orientation coordination and facilitation, including check-ins with new employees and their managers and I-9 documentation.
• Assist with employer branding and engagement campaigns.
• Order and post all required employment law posters and notices.
• Participate in cross-functional HR projects and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
