Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our warehouse team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy of deliveries, and ensuring that all materials and products are properly documented, stored, and communicated to internal teams. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the efficiency of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and check against purchase orders and packing slips.

Inspect materials for damages, shortages, or quality issues, and promptly report discrepancies.

Accurately document receipts in the inventory management system.

Tag, label, and route products to designated storage areas.

Prepare, package, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.

Verify accuracy of shipping documents (bills of lading, shipping labels, etc.) and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Coordinate and load outbound trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods and timely scheduling with LTL carriers and dedicated truck providers to meet delivery deadlines.

Maintain organized and clean shipping and receiving docks.

Collaborate with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.

Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as required.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (GED required).

Previous warehouse, shipping / receiving, or inventory experience preferred.

Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Forklift certification is a plus.

Additional Requirements :

This role is based on-site at United Bags' headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.
