CMMC Program Manager

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced CMMC lead to manage and drive our organization's efforts toward achieving CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance. This role will involve collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and a third-party CMMC consulting firm to ensure successful implementation of security controls, documentation, and processes in alignment with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an active CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) certification. You will be responsible for coordinating the compliance roadmap, managing timelines, and ensuring the organization is prepared for assessment.

Specific Duties and Competencies :

• Act as liaison between the organization and third-party CMMC consultant
• Coordinate and monitor progress of compliance tasks and milestones aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC frameworks
• Lead the internal gap analysis, risk assessments, and remediation plans
• Work directly with all departments to develop existing and new policies
• Collect adequate evidence for each control to prove procedures are in place
• Manage Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM) in Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS)
• Perform annual training to ensure policies and procedures are being followed
• Translate complex compliance requirements into actionable, department specific tasks
• Answer questions related to CMMC for the processing, storage, or transmission of CUI
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Track any new requirements or rulings that the organization will need to be aware of
