The Operations Coordinator assists the team with reporting, filing, and general office coordination. The role is best suited for a team player who possesses a strong work ethic, is organized and detail-oriented, and communicates effectively .
Job Responsibilities :
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors.
- Assist HR with orientations - systems & reporting training (QBT, DR, DVIR, EIR)
- Review timekeeping entries for weekly payroll
- Prepare supervisor binders and AMI gear for new employees
- Coordinate the prep of vehicles for new Ops Salaried employees
- Print telematics reports at month end
- Scribe all Ops meetings; print agendas and supporting documents as needed
- Serve as liaison between operations and other departments on behalf of Ops Manager
- Track operational tasks using spreadsheets, Asana, & Google Calendar
- Pre-order materials and trucking
- Request 811 and other permits
- Manage water meters and submit readings to municpalities
- Prepare and communicate daily lineup to Ops supervisors
- Provide daily administrative support to Ops manager, as requested
- Provide administrative support to Shop, as requested
- Serve as backup to Estimating Coordinator
Skills Needed :
High School Diploma requiredBachelors / Associates Degree preferred.Construction experience required.Beginner to intermediate Excel or Google Sheets experience preferred.Team player.Eager to learn.Flexible with the changes of construction.Willing to try new software or new systems.Ability to independently manage own work.Confidentiality and trustworthiness.Positive, upbeat personality required.Job Type : Full-Time, Monday-Friday (6 : 00am-2 : 30pm)
Salary Range : $55,000 - $70,000
