I am currently working with a leading law firm with a strong national presence, who are actively looking to recruit an experienced commercial litigation attorney to join their growing Chicago office.

Responsibilities :

  • This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases.
  • Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.
  • Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
  • Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
  • 5+ years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, wellness plans, and a 401k plan. Paid sick leave when applicable by state law.
  • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • Anticipated Base Pay range of $200k-$250k per annum (dependent on experience).
