Our client, an Am 100 law firm, has an immediate opening in their Chicago office for a Commercial Litigation Associate with three to five years of experience preferred. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services Capital Markets Strategic Business Unit.

• Experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation including conducting factual investigations and discovery.
• Preparing pleadings and taking depositions.
• Arguing motions and participating in mediation.
• Communicating effectively with clients.
• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred; administrative matters and arbitrations experience is beneficial.
• Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required.

Additionally, judicial clerkship experience with a federal court is preferred but not required. Candidates must have an Illinois bar license or commit to obtaining one soon.
