Job Overview

Role : Infusion Pharmacist

Schedule : Monday - Friday (Day Shifts), some 'on-call' on weekends

Duration : 13 Weeks

Responsibilities :

• Provides clinical oversight of sterile pounding and the IV medication use process, ensuring safe, accurate, and pliant preparation and administration of infusion therapies.
• Reviews and verifies pounded sterile products (CSPs) and infusion orders, monitoring therapies for appropriateness, patibility, and patient-specific factors.
• Collaborates with prescribers and nursing staff to optimize IV drug therapy, resolve medication-related issues, and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervises and supports pharmacy technicians in sterile pounding, enforcing USP

standards and institutional protocols.
