Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol

As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a prominent commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence will support a secure environment while you interact with tenants and visitors, provide assistance, and uphold access control standards. By utilizing technology and strong communication skills, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a people-first culture dedicated to integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Pay Rate : $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Tuesday 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Wednesday 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Thursday 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Friday 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents within the location to the proper authorities and / or Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to building occupants.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants, visitors, and staff while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
  • Complete written reports and logs as required to document security-related activities and incidents.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal supervisors and / or client representatives.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
