Sales Coordinator – Hyatt House El Segundo

Reports To : Director of Operations / Hotel General Manager
Location : Hyatt House El Segundo, CA
Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can provide administrative and operational support to the Sales team, ensuring seamless execution of daily sales activities. A strong working knowledge of Envision CRM is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and booking details in Hyatt’s Envision system .
Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and group resumes.
Track leads, opportunities, and conversions while monitoring daily pace and production reports.
Coordinate site inspections and group arrivals in collaboration with Operations.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports as required by Hyatt brand standards.
Manage collateral and sales materials, ensuring brand compliance.
Respond promptly to inquiries, RFPs, and group leads through Envision and brand channels.
Support the sales and operations team with administrative tasks and event coordination.
Maintain effective communication between Sales, Revenue, and Front Office teams to ensure successful group and transient business.
Actively contribute to sales calls, blitzes, and community outreach events as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales, sales coordination, or administrative support (Hyatt brand experience preferred).
Proficiency in Envision CRM required; familiarity with Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude.
Work Schedule
Full-time position, typically Monday–Friday with occasional weekend or evening assignments for events or site visits.
