Paralegal / Legal Secretary

Career Consulting Partners is in search of a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Secretary (Hybrid) to work out of El Segundo, California. We have partnered with an award-winning mid-size firm serving businesses, individuals, trustees, and families across Southern California. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal or Legal Secretary to join the dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience , be exceptionally detail-oriented, and have a strong sense of initiative and responsibility. You will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in maintaining and managing litigation calendars, including court deadlines and appointments
• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Assist with discovery processes, including drafting, organizing, and responding to discovery requests
• Coordinate and manage trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
• Track billable time accurately and consistently in compliance with firm procedures
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed (filing, scanning, document formatting)
